A few pics from my Japan hike. This is the Kumano Kodo Nakaheci track, a world heritage pilgrimage to three shines. We did about 82km on this first hike.
Hot and muggy! Very cultural, some great food.

4 days of hiking the Tre Cime Levarado in the Dolomites, this time with Via Ferratas. 45km, 3000 meters of climbing. Sun, hail and snow! Very rugged country with lots of war history, tunnels and forts built by the Italians and Austrians in WW1.

9 days of hiking the Alta Via 1 in the Dolomite Mountains in Italy. We had hot days, hail storms and white out conditions…so many hills! Around 135kms of hiking and 7500m of elevation gain. Survived to tell the tale.

60km, 4 days, Kepler Track. Following the southern arm of the Lake Te Anau fiord, across the alpine mountains and down into beech forest again. Some very lovely mountain views.
