I realised that I haven't been posting much on this page for quite a while, but rest assured I'm still here and doing what I LOVE 💕💕

I do wear many hats and juggle many commitments simultaneously but have to say that my heart is definitely the fullest when I'm working with Athletics Australia and the Sons of the West community programs 💙❤️🤍

Ohhhh and then it's finding the balance outside of work for my beautiful family, friends, training or my next big run and yoga 🏃🏽‍♀️🧘🏽🏃🏽‍♀️

This life is beautiful, don't get yourself caught up in the small stuff, because when you step outside and take a nice big deep breath it's all small stuff! ✌🏽🌳🌞🌳✌🏽

I have been so grateful to be involved in the Western Bulldogs Sons of the West Program over the past 10 weeks!

I was working with the Active advanced men and it was great to see an improvement in every one of them!

This is such a wonderful free community based program and would recommend it to any man wanting to improve his health and fitness!

I have always been a little unorthodox, even a little unconventional in my approach to my training, especially when it comes to my running.

So tonight I adapted a netball session, making great use of the cricket nets. Tonight's focus was balance, passing and looking forward, reading the play.

I love the feeling that you get when you're trying to bring the best out of each player and it's working! These girls are amazing! I am so proud of each and every one of them!

Absolutely beautiful night at training but don't let the sun trick you! It was freezing! ☀️🥶☀️

Small run with the Hubsie today! He has a sore leg, so we started off slower and was hoping to get around 5min/km pace by the end, just short but still very happy with perfect Negative splits! Golly it was a great day out there for a run! Absolutely beautiful weather! 💛💚☀️💚💛

Another Day, Another Beach, Another Run! Starting Easter Sunday off right! Hubsie and I headed off for a little run, so many people out and some nice hard sand! Love our beach runs, Long Beach at Robe this time, SA beaches are the best! 🏖️🏖️

Easter weekend Southend to NoBeach Port run, only 18kms this time, was worried that we were going to get caught in the rain! It was a 4 seasons in one run type of run! It is amazing how much this beach changes every time that we run on it, today's run was quite soft underfoot but the tide was out and we could nearly run all the way to NoBeach....Port without having to navigate masses of sea w**d! Always a pleasure to run with .noll 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

Family time spent right! Not the best weather but we took the girls for a run today around my old school cross country track! They loved it! Just kidding! But they did enjoy it more when I said that we could get an ice cream at the end of it! Only condition was they had to run! 😜🤣

I have to say that working with the Western Bulldogs Community Foundation; Sons of the West program is seriously so much fun!

I have such a great group of men to train and love coming up with crazy ideas, let's see how many I have at the end of this program! 😜

I don't know what is more exciting? Winning a premiership as a coach or winning it as a player? 🏆🏅🏆

I can tell you, as a coach it feels absolutely amazing to take your team to the top, tonight my girls played like the true champions that they all are! It was a goal for goal nail biter of a game and it ended up a draw at full time, to which we had to play overtime! We ended up winning by two goals and I tell you it felt amazing and to say that I am proud is an absolute understatement! ♥️🖤🤍

What a wonderful start to a Sunday morning! Even funnier when Bec turns up wearing the same top! We didn't plan this I swear! We must be telepathic! 😜🤣

10km Run with the lovely Bec, Boxing class with the Hubsie and then a family Swim, Spa and Steam......I have really enjoyed starting our Sundays this way since the new year, worn out now and heading home for a lovely brunch! That was our bargaining chip to get one of our daughters there this morning, she is getting to the age where sleep ins are more exciting! 😜🤣

PS. Thanks for the run Bec, it was nice to run together again xx

Sometimes plans have to change, and sometimes that change works out far better than you ever expected! 💪🏃‍♀️💪

Today's session was meant to be hurdles out on the oval and with our current wild weather I couldn't do that to the kids, but this school has a super small gym and I was stressing out about what I was going to do? Then it came to me! "Let's do a circuit" (which still included the hurdles)

Every child joined in! No one was sitting off to the side and all the students were super engaged! All the kids had rosy red cheeks and some were even sweating! Then as I finished my last session at this school, one child walked up and gave me a hug! I then had 3 other Children give me a hug and tell me that, that session was their favourite! 🤩

When I am so exhausted from this school term and tired is beyond an understatement! These children just made me remember why I do this! To see the happy smiles on their faces! Nothing could actually make me happier! (Well other than world peace and climate change! HaHa)

Every time I run in these pants I feel like the "Peculiar Purple Pie Man from Porcupine Peak!"

and for any of you runners out there who like to wear coloured pants but don't due to excessive sweat patches in inappropriate places! In the words of Kath and Kim "I have two words for you!" "Period Un**es!" Seriously this has been the best advice I have been given!

It was a tough run out there this morning but got it in before the heat and its a total fire ban day so the winds were crazy! Thanks Anna for joining me! 🏃‍♀️💕☀️💕🏃‍♀️
