👋 Meet Alistair Freeman – Psychologist at Mind Life Clinic 👋
Alistair is a down-to-earth psychologist who keeps things real. No jargon, no confusing theories — just honest conversations, practical support, and a sense of humour to make the tough stuff feel a little lighter.

(And yes, he does go for the Mighty Blues… but we try not to hold that against him.)

🧠 Why Psychology?
Alistair was drawn to psychology after realising how important it is for individuals to have a safe, steady place to talk things through. He knows life gets complicated, and sometimes you just need someone neutral who gets it.

👥 Who He Works With
Alistair works with clients 18+, with a special interest in:
• Mens health and wellbeing
• Relationship challenges and dynamics — whether romantic, family, or the everyday “why is this so hard?” kind. But no couples counselling.

💬 His Approach
“Therapy works best when you can show up as yourself. My goal is to help you figure out what matters and move toward it — even when life is messy.”

🤝 What Sessions Feel Like
Relaxed. Genuine. Unpretentious. You’ll be listened to, supported, and able to speak openly and freely, without any judgment.

💡 What He Wishes More People Knew
You don’t need to wait for things to fall apart before getting support. Therapy can be useful even when life is going fairly well.

🏊‍♂️ Outside the Clinic
Alistair enjoys swimming, family time, the beach, and finding new places to dine out — preferably somewhere with great food and low fuss. And watching Carlton lose...usually!

💬 A Quote That Sticks
"Worry is a dividend, paid to disaster, before it is due" - Ian Fleming.

We’re lucky to have Alistair on the Mind Life team — grounded, approachable, and committed to helping adults navigate life with more clarity and confidence.

✨ Wrapping Up Our Final Adult Groups for 2025 ✨

This week we celebrated the completion of our final adult groups for the year — ADHD Connection and Sensory Connection.

It has been such an honour to create a safe, supportive space for learning, growth, vulnerability, and genuine connection. We are deeply grateful to everyone who participated with such openness, courage, and respect. Your willingness to reflect, share, and support one another is what makes these groups so special.

We are now taking expressions of interest for our next round of groups beginning April 2026. If you or someone you know would benefit from a supportive, evidence-based group environment, we’d love to hear from you.
