🖤 Struggling today...I'm coming to terms with the devastating news of the attack on the Jewish community at Bondi Beach yesterday.

My heart is broken for a community who was simply looking to celebrate a joyful festival in a beautiful part of Australia.

As a Christian, this resonates with me because we value and often give thanks for the freedom in Australia to safely celebrate faith-based occasions with our brothers and sisters.

So today I'm lighting a candle and praying.
I'm praying for:
🖤 Comfort for the local Jewish community who have lost loved ones in this attack.
🖤 Comfort for the global Jewish community who are uniting in grief.
🖤 Wisdom and unity among leaders to address anti-Semitism.

I'm thankful to believe in a God who listens, loves and cares for us in these dark moments.
And when I feel too helpless or powerless to do anything, I'm thankful that I can pray.
