It’s actually a Capricorn Full Moon! 11 July, 6:39am AEDT

This Capricorn Full Moon chart can be regarded as a snapshot for the extraordinary Astronomical times we are living in at present, a rare moment in our Solar system and no doubt beyond.
To begin with we have several of the so-called Transpersonal planets, which are the outer, slower planets, moving into new signs:
Jupiter moved into Cancer, for around 12 months

Saturn has moved into Aries until August 2029

Uranus has moved into Gemini until August 2032

Neptune has moved into Aries until March 2039

Pluto moved into Aquarius fully January 2025 until 2044

Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto moved from Earth and Water signs to Air and Fire signs, so if you think things have been moving fast, hold onto your hats for this next stage which we’re getting a taste of over the next few months until Saturn, Uranus and Neptune retrograde briefly into the previous signs they’ve been in, and then by April 2026 they will be in their new signs for quite awhile. (see dates above)
We haven’t seen Uranus in Gemini for eighty years, and now it is in trine to Pluto in Aquarius, a so-called ‘soft’ aspect which creates an harmonious energy between these two powerful planets for change and transformation. The ‘seed’ of the relationship between Uranus and Pluto in our times, started in the mid-sixties with the conjunction.

Uranus is the so-called higher octave of Mercury which rules our minds, and is the ruler of Gemini. There will be much innovative thinking, and unexpected discoveries made during this next period. What sets our minds apart from Ai intelligence is that we can bring humanitarian (Aquarius) aspects to this brilliance. (I doubt that can be an Ai program?)
Uranus is also conjunct the dwarf planet Sedna, which is about regeneration and renewal.
This can portend a time of thinking very differently about how to live together on this
beautiful planet.

Cancer New Moon-25th June 8:31pm AEDT

The watery New Moon is full of tenderness and feeling. It is time to allow yourself to softly nurture your inner world, your home. Take the time now.
Jupiter is conjunct the New Moon as it has arrived into Cancer, where it is ‘exalted’, having spent the last year in Gemini, where the beneficial opening qualities of Jupiter become scattered, and spread out too thinly, staying on the surface, as it is in its so-called ‘detriment’ in Gemini. The information overload most of us have been experiencing shortening our attention spans thus limiting the possibilities of growth, are some of the symptoms.(Jupiter takes around twelve months to travel through each sign).
The powerful square between the Sun/Moon/Jupiter conjunction in Cancer and the Saturn/Neptune conjunction in the early degrees of Aries is calling on us to honour those parts of ourselves which might have felt too vulnerable to go near in the past, but now, with the courage of Aries, and a sextile to Mars, we can approach these parts of ourselves with more bravado. With openness and awareness we can bring light to them, thus healing and transforming darkness and the density of the pain which might be stored in them into renewed perspectives.

Every year as the Sun enters the Cardinal Water sign of Cancer, it coincides with the Winter Solstice in the Southern hemisphere or Summer Solstice in the Northern hemisphere.

The Earth does a ‘turn’ which signals a change of season.

What is different this year is that we have Jupiter conjunct the Sun.

Jupiter is ‘exalted’ in Cancer, which means that it’s at its very best in this sign. It is coming out of Gemini, where it is in its so-called ‘detriment’.

It takes about a year to travel through each sign, and the last year has been a vivid example of this: too much information, scattered growth, dualism (us v them) lots of duplicitous hype in the media etc

But Jupiter in Cancer is a very different story. This is about amplifying community and family, togetherness and solidarity.

Cancer feels, and protects the vulnerable. Cancer nourishes the young. Cancer cares and has compassion.
