Birrong Sports Netball at Bass Hill Plaza today. We distributed lots of Come and Try flyers to interested families. Had returning players come and see us to register and past club members stop and chat, express the fun and good times they had playing for Birrong and donate uniforms they don’t need any more.
Thank-you to our enthusiastic, friendly volunteers for donating your time. Elke you were a star at engaging with the shoppers and getting them interested in our Come and Try day 7th March and our wonderful club.

On International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, Netball Australia is united to put an end to violence against women and girls.

This Remembrance Day we remember all who lost their lives and all those who have suffered in wars, conflicts and peace operations. We remember their families too.

Remembrance Day is also a time to reflect on the devastating impact of war on civilians, volunteers and service personnel here and across the world.

At 11 am, we unite in a minute of solemn reflection and pay tribute to their sacrifice and that of their families.
