Today I gave birth to www.wekounsel.com.au.

This beautiful infant will be nurtured with love and compassion and, like every parent, as I grow in my knowledge and confidence, so too will this newborn.

I invite you to take a look at this little bub and welcome your feedback to support it's growth.

Because as EVERY parent knows...it takes a village to raise a child.

I thank you for your feedback and thank you ALL for being a part of my village.

THE WEB OF PARENTING

Hello Parents (and parents to be, and parents’ villagers),
Today, I start a new journey…truth be told it’s a very, very, very old and long journey…a journey to being my true and wonderful self.
A clear, loud and *hopefully* helpful lighthouse to that special village of parents who needs to see the light I can provide.
A light from a completely fallible parent and human being!

DISCLAIMER: I AM DESIGNED TO SEE PATTERNS. I AM DESIGNED TO CHALLENGE OTHERS OUT OF THEIR STUCKNESS. THESE ARE SOME OF THE GIFTS THAT I SHARE AND AT TIMES MAY BE BADLY PERCEIVED. THAT’S OK. IT IS PART OF THE JOURNEY. SO, IF YOU FEEL YOUR BUTTONS BEING PUSHED BY WHAT I WRITE – GOOD! YOU ARE OPEN TO SHIFTING OUT OF YOUR STUCKNESS! GO YOU!

So, let’s get started…PARENTING!

This is such a massive topic – I typed “parenting” into Google and it showed “About 217,000,000 results”. That’s HUGE! I mean, if I were to read all that information, I would have ZERO time to actually parent!

Oh, and I get the irony of me adding to that number by the way 😊

That said, I believe we all find what we need when we need it, and one of my biggest wishes for this world is to create closer knit communities.

I whole-heartedly believe it takes a village to raise our children.
We are all in need of help, perspective-and sometimes…or often…a place to openly say “I have NO idea what I’m doing” and have someone else say, “Me neither. Let’s figure it out together.”

So what? You may be asking.

Well, I am inviting all you parents out there to join me on a wonderful journey into your past, your present and imagining (and practicing) your new future of accepting yourself as the perfectly imperfect human being that you are…and then go beyond that to understanding how you possess wonderful gifts to offer your family and the world.

To begin the journey the next step is SIMPLE…

Hellooo everyone out there...it's been a while right?

Ok, so a minor update with more to follow.

Basically, I've been working with the wonderful team Wildflower Holistic Services to develop our second term of Raising Wildflowers AND adapting this for online delivery.

Now we are in week 3 and it's flying...

I have also been deepening my own understanding of myself through contemplation using my new FAVOURITE system - HUMAN DESIGN.

If you find yourself asking what HD is, then I encourage you to go explore more for yourself...it has been truly mind-blowing for me!

And, if you are more of a 'I'd rather you just tell me' kind of person, feel free to message me.

A few months back a wonderful friend, Alex , sent me an email with details for a South Western Sydney PHN grant...Supporting Communities in Recovery. This email followed a some conversations we had had of how to better support our local community and the families therein.

In April, WeKounsel was SUCCESSFUL in our application! Woohoo!

And Thursday, 29th April, in collaboration with Wildflower Holistic Services, I started a new and wonderful journey to deliver Raising Wildflowers!
