What is Amblyopia (Lazy Eye)?
Amblyopia, commonly known as lazy eye, is a condition where one eye doesn't develop proper vision during childhood. Even though the eye may look normal, the brain starts to favour the other eye, leading to poor vision in the affected one.
Usually begins in early childhood ๐ถ
Often caught during routine eye exams ๐ฉ๐ปโโ
May require glasses, eye patching, or vision therapy ๐
The good news? Early detection and treatment can significantly improve vision! Thatโs why regular eye checks are so important; especially for children under 7.
Donโt ignore the signs: squinting, head tilting, or an eye that drifts.

Schedule an eye exam and give both eyes a fair chance to shine.
