🩺 What is Multiple Sclerosis (MS)?
MS is a chronic neurological condition affecting the brain and spinal cord.

- This disrupts communication between the brain and body

Common symptoms include:
- Fatigue
- Numbness or tingling
- Vision problems
- Weakness or mobility issues
- Balance difficulties
- Memory or cognitive changes

There is currently no cure, but treatments can help manage symptoms and slow progression.

Why might you need an ECG?
Your GP may recommend one if you have symptoms such as:
❤️ Chest pain

Marty graduated Medicine in 2015, following a 20‑year career in physiotherapy, most of which was spent working in Bathurst. He has been a long‑term Bathurst resident on and off since 1973, with periods living and working across the Central West and Sydney during various medical roles and training.

He brings extensive experience and a strong interest in musculoskeletal and sports injury management. He enjoys working with people of all ages across general practice and urgent care and has undertaken additional training in anaesthetics and psychiatric medicine.

His current medical roles include working at the Bathurst Medicare Urgent Care Clinic, as well as providing Opioid Agonist Treatment as a prescriber at the Chifley Clinic in Bathurst.
