π New changes to help people with disability
ποΈ The government is making the NDIS better for everyone.
π§β𦽠The changes will:
π Make NDIS plans easier to understand
π« Give more help to children under 9
π΅ Make sure support is fair for all participants
π° The government will spend $1 billion on these changes.

What is changing?
π©ββοΈ People will get support needs assessments at no cost to them.
πΌ A new team will help participants plan their supports.
πΆ The government will design a new pathway for children under 9.
π‘ The NDIS Agency will follow new ideas from the Independent Review.
π» Better technology will stop fraud and improve safety.
π οΈ The changes will start over the next 2 years.
π΅ How the $1 billion will be spent
π The government will spend the money on:
π²$503.5 million to keep helping people already in the NDIS
π²$280 million to improve planning for participants
π²$143.9 million to keep participants safe and protect quality
π²$110.4 million to stop fraud
π²$4.5 million to design better support for children
π¬ Why these changes are important
π©ββοΈ Many people pay too much for big reports.
π° Now, the government will pay for these reports instead.
π This will also save time for doctors and therapists.
π‘ Children will get the right support early in life.
π οΈ The changes will help make the NDIS fairer for everyone.
