headspace Bathurst has been busy throughout the week preparing a series of HSC study packs for Year 12 students in the Bathurst, Blayney and Oberon LGA's, as part of their annual headspace Day activity.

The team prepared over 500 packs, including items such as notebooks, pens, wristbands and assorted consumables, to deliver to 8 schools: Denison College- Bathurst High Campus, Denison College- Kelso High Campus, Scots All Saints College, St Stanislaus' College, MacKillop College, Skillset Senior College, Blayney High School and Oberon High School.

With careful coordination required by the entire team, the packs were carefully put together across a two-day period, and delivered to each school across four days.

Each school was very receptive of the packs, with "kind gesture" a recurring phrase across schools.

The packs were made possible through the 2025 headspace Day grant allocated by headspace National to all centres each year in preparation for headspace Day in early October. headspace Bathurst would also like to thank Coles Bathurst, Woolworths Bathurst City Centre and Officeworks Bathurst for their in-kind support!

⚽️💚❤️A big shout-out to CSU Football Club for their stellar efforts again during this year's headspace Cup.

While they were unable to defend their headspace Cup crown from last year, the club were able to raise close to $10,000 from this year's event. Including their impressive efforts during the The Push-Up Challenge - Australia back in June, CSU Football Club have raised a total of $17,112 for headspace Bathurst this year, and we cannot thank them enough for all the incredible work they put into support us each year!

As a not-for-profit youth mental health service, donations play a substantial role in helping us produce a number of key initiatives each year [such as the Bathurst Pride 'n Stride], and for 10 years, the headspace Cup has played a big role in raising awareness of headspace services in the Bathurst community and the importance of early help-seeking behaviour.

Thanks again to CSU Football Club [with support from Bathurst District Football Inc] for making headspace Day such a success each year!

This week, we are saying a heartfelt farewell to Mary, who is retiring after just over 17 years at headspace Bathurst.

headspace Bathurst first opened in April 2008 as headspace NSW Central West, and Mary has been warmly greeting young people through the door and offering much-needed support ever since.

We held a special farewell event for Mary today to honour her outstanding career at headspace Bathurst, and we are all going to miss her dearly!

All the best Mary for your many wonderful adventures to come! 💚
