I just love this photo of Dad Warren and I taken at the Volunteers Week afternoon tea last week. I was given a chance to sit up at the table with my fellow Volunteers but also got to practice my skill I learned at Playful Paws: Training & Wellness to sit in 'Cafe Mode'....quietly next to or under the seat while the hoomans are having a coffee break๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ

This morning Dad Warren and I visited Maddocks Gardens Aged Care, Bairnsdale Regional Health Service as we do on Fridays. I was happy to see all of my friends there looking well. While there, I was glad I could personally thank the residents for the beautiful posie of flowers I was given yesterday as recognition of Volunteer's Week. The flowers were grown at Maddocks Gardens and chosen by the residents. They are beautiful. Thankyou๐Ÿ’œ

WOW!!! I JUST HEARD MY NAME MENTIONED ON THE THING DAD AND MUM SAID IS A RADIO. โญโญโญ

How Exciting!! Dad Warren was just interviewed by TRFM radio station in connection to Volunteer's Week. He spoke about how wonderful and rewarding it is to be a volunteer at Bairnsdale Regional Health Service Hospital and Maddocks Gardens Aged Care, Bairnsdale Regional Health Service especially after working for 43 years in Hospital Administration. They also asked about me (Well why not? After all, I am the star of the showโญ). He explained how I came to live with him and Mum when I was just a baby. Then how I learned all of my cool things I can now do at Playful Paws: Training & Wellness progressing to be trained as a therapy dog. I just love spreading smiles and am very proud to be a volunteer during this special week where all volunteers are given a big thankyou for just being there and helping out where needed.๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ˜ƒ.

What a wonderful way to kick off Volunteer's Week. I met some very brave patients, cheery visitors and lovely caring staff members. I hope I made their day just a little brighter and wish everyone I visited a speedy recovery and are soon at their own homes after their stay in Bairnsdale Regional Health Service Hospital. Monday morning means off to Bairnsdale Regional Health Service Hospital to check in on everyone and make sure smiles were put on faces that weren't feeling so well. In return I was given lots of lovely pats and cuddles. I was very happy to be invited up onto quite a few beds which were warm and cosy because it is a little bit chilly outside today.
Giving back with a waggy tail and a show of my smiley teefs is the least I can do in return.

This morning Dad Warren and I visited Maddocks Gardens Aged Care, Bairnsdale Regional Health Service as we do on a Friday morning. It has been soooo chilly the past few days, the resident's beds looked really inviting for a cuddle and snuggle. I was very honoured to be invited into the rooms of several new residents who I'm sure I will get to know well over the coming weeks as they all told Dad they would love me to visit again๐Ÿ’œ. I will definately pop in for a pat next time. I am starting to hear hoomans there saying the same thing...'It must be Friday because here comes Archie'. I'm not sure exactly what that means but it must be something good because they are always smiling and that makes me happy. Till next time. Love Archie๐Ÿ’ž๐Ÿ’ž
