What better way to spend a Monday morning than sharing some pats and cuddles. Dad Warren and I had a fun morning chatting to the residents, patients, their visitors and staff at Maddocks Gardens Aged Care, Bairnsdale Regional Health Service and Bairnsdale Regional Health Service Hospital. Dad said this was the reason I couldn't go for a swim at the beach yesterday. Imagine making those comfy beds all scratchy with sand. Anyway, tomorrow I am off to doggy daycare at Playful Paws: Training & Wellness and if it is warm enough the paddle pool may be filled or if not I can always just sit in the water bucket😃🐕😃. Love and cuddles Archie 💜💜.

I spent the day today playing and swimming in the bucket with my four legged friends at Playful Paws: Training & Wellness. I've come home, had a roll in the backyard, had my coat blow dried and now I am crashed out exhausted.

Monday again and Dad Warren and I headed off to Bairnsdale Regional Health Service Hospital to check in on everyone. I was met with lots of smiling faces and pats and the odd doggie treat. I hope I brightened their day just a little. Till next week... love Archie xxoo

Lucy, Winnie and I gained a mention in Bairnsdale Regional Health Service news. I love that everyone enjoys our visits so much.💞💞

Each week at BRHS, three certified therapy dogs visit as part of our volunteer program.

Our furry friends Lucy, Archie and Winnie bring joy to residents in Maddocks Gardens, patients on our inpatient wards, and even staff and students.

This paws-itive initiative helps boost social interaction, especially for those missing their own pups at home. Many patients and aged care residents eagerly look forward to these weekly visits.

Each therapy dog wears a special volunteer bandana and has quickly become a tail-waggingly wonderful part of the BRHS community.

This program is just one of many ways BRHS is working to enhance your care experience.

We are back home now after visiting my friends in Maddocks Gardens Aged Care, Bairnsdale Regional Health Service and Bairnsdale Regional Health Service Hospital. There were so many residents, patients, visitors and staff to say hello to. I thought this week as well that I would go to the offices and give the staff there a helping paw. Good thing I wore my red bow tie today.

Now that Dad Warren and I are back home I think I will have a big snooze. My goodness, we said hello to so many patients, visitors and staff at Maddocks Gardens Aged Care, Bairnsdale Regional Health Service and Bairnsdale Regional Health Service Hospital. I thought this morning it looked like a rainbow bowtie sort of day. I hope it made just a few people smile. It made me sad to see that some patients have been in hospital for a long time. It's nice that they are getting to know me and know my name but I bet they miss their own puppas terribly. Dad said that is the reason we visit. Sharing smiles, pats, cuddles and a few chats. Monday again and Dad Warren and I have spent the morning visiting all of my friends at Maddocks Gardens Aged Care, Bairnsdale Regional Health Service and Bairnsdale Regional Health Service Hospital. These photos may make you think that I spent my time there just lounging around in beds....though they were very enticing to sneak a little kip in. Nothing could be further from the truth.
