Medically induced menopause happens when treatments or surgery (like o***y removal) cause menopause earlier than expected.

Common symptoms include, but not limited to, hot flushes, night sweats, vaginal dryness and mood changes.

Jean Hailes asked respondents and found that around 6 in 10 people rated their knowledge of this issue as poor or fair.

October is World Menopause Month. Focus on improving health and wellbeing during this natural phase of life. Be prepared, not scared!

2025 Australasian Menopause Conference has started! The afternoon was packed with the latest research:
- the different impact resistance training has on women when compared to men
- migraines, the 100 genetic foci (!) and the impact of E2 on the trigeminal neurovascular system
- improving levels of Apo-E to improve cognition and reduce dementia risk
- reducing lipid levels to decrease the risk of dementia 20 years on!
And so much more. Can't wait to bring this knowledge back to the Clinic!
