A productive and exciting week at Urban Buddy Farm 🌿

We’ve been busy with lots of landscaping as we prepare for something very special — our wheelchair accessible garden ♿🌱 This space is being designed so everyone can enjoy getting involved, gardening, and spending meaningful time outdoors.

Our chickens have also been enjoying their new enrichment activity, keeping them active, curious, and entertained 🐓

It’s amazing to see everything coming together. We’re building a space that’s inclusive, engaging, and full of opportunities for everyone to connect with the farm 💚

We’re so excited to introduce the newest babies on the farm! 💛 These fluffy little bundles have safely hatched and are already enjoying lots of snuggles under mum’s watchful wing.

There’s nothing sweeter than tiny peeps and soft yellow fluff to brighten our days 🥰

We’re opening the farm gates for a weekly Community Care & Connection Day — a relaxed, hands-on morning to connect, contribute, and care for the land and animals together.

This is a group-based community volunteer day, focused on shared experiences, routine, and connection in a natural farm setting.

🗓 Wednesdays
⏰ 9:30am – 1:30pm
👥 Max 8 people per session
💚 Free | Volunteer-based

What we’ll be doing:

🌱 Garden beds & light farm tasks
🐔 Chicken coop enrichment & care
🐐 Feeding goats
🐴 Horse grooming (no riding)

This day is about being part of something, moving gently, and contributing alongside others — not therapy, not paid support.
