1 in 4 children have an undetected eye problem, and children who can’t see well do worse at school. If identified early, some childhood vision conditions can be treated.
This screening program is to look for vision problems that may need glasses and other conditions that may impact a child's vision and school performance. This research helps us understand what vision conditions are impacting the children in South Australia, and what we can do to help.
