Hi everyone.

As of Friday October 14th, masks are no longer mandatory in pharmacy.

We would like to thank everyone for their co-operation and compliance while the mask mandates were in place. You all had a helping hand in keeping our little Flinders community safe.

We encourage our customers to still mask up if they are feeling unwell.

It is still a mandatory requirement to report a positive Covid test.

We have Covid tests and masks still available in store.

Keep well!

The free Rapid Antigen Test scheme for concession card holders through pharmacies has ended.

However, from Monday 1 August, eligible concession card holders will be able to register to collect 10 free RATs over a three-month period, with no more than five RATs to be collected within one month.

RATs will be available to be collected from RAT Collection Points across the state. Eligible people must register to collect free RATs using an online form, prior to collecting RATs.

Please visit www.sahealth.sa.gov.au/COVIDrapidantigentesting for further information.

Thank you to all who came through to our pharmacy during the scheme. We still have RATs available for purchase.

We know that the student hub and the library can get pretty cold in winter. We have a range of wheat bags, hand and pocket warmers and now heated socks to get you through those long study sessions! 🧦 ❄

We hope everyone enjoyed a wonderful and safe 4 day break!

There were changes to mask mandates on Good Friday however, Flinders Uni Pharmacy is considered a health care facility and therefore masks still remain mandatory in store.

We understand this might be frustrating and annoying but we very much appreciate your co-operation. We have plenty of masks for purchase in store.

We look forward to seeing you soon!

Finally! We've joined the RAT race!

We have received a supply of Nasal or Oral Rapid Antigen Tests. Single pack is $10.95

If you have a valid Centrelink Concession Card, you are eligible to receive a test for free. (Need to show validity of concession card through the Centrelink app)

Stay safe and take care!

Thank you to everyone who has used the QR code to check in at the pharmacy. We also have a sign in sheet at our counter, controlled by our staff, so your details are not being left unattended.

Please be aware that SA Health states that checking in, via the QR code or sign in sheet, is mandatory.

We want everyone to stay safe while we enjoy the luxuries of no restrictions. If you're coming into the store, even for a brief moment, we ask you please to check in.

Fingers crossed our current streak of zero cases continues so we can have an uninterrupted year at Uni this year!

😎Heading out and about? Don’t forget to check in when you’re visiting businesses, venues and events.

Things to remember:
✅Checking in is mandatory, so if you don’t see anywhere to sign in, make sure to ask someone.
✅If you’re with a group of people, make sure everyone checks in, and not just you.
✅If you do not have a smart phone, a paper record will be available for you to provide your details.

Good news! Masks in pharmacies are no longer mandatory. Thank you to everyone who co-operated with the last advisement from the government. You are now free to enter the pharmacy without a mask. But please take precautions to socially distance with other customers in store. We still have a maximum of 5 people allowed in the shop at one time to help with these social distancing measures.

Contact tracing via the QR code or manually is still mandatory. The QR code is available outside the pharmacy and in 2 locations inside the pharmacy. We're happy to write down your details if you have any difficulties with the app.

We thank you again for your patience and understanding through all of the different changes and restrictions.

Update on mandatory mask use:

Changes from Monday 14 December
▪️Masks will no longer be mandatory at pharmacies.

✳️Until this date, you must continue to wear a mask. Please be considerate of pharmacy staff.

Changes from Wednesday 23 December
▪️Masks will no longer be mandatory for people in health care settings, or people working in personal care services (hairdressers, beauty salons, tattoo parlours and similar businesses).

ℹ️Updated Frequently Asked Questions will be issued on Monday 14 December.

Thank you to everyone who has come in and been so patient with the new requirements for all pharmacies.

The SA government states that all visitors to health services, including pharmacy, must be wearing a mask. We understand this can be frustrating if only popping in for a minute, but it is necessary to comply with new regulations.

As we know, things can change at the drop of a hat and we will do our best to keep you informed. At this stage, it seems from December 23 onwards, masks will no longer be mandatory.

But until then, please remember when visiting the pharmacy to wear a mask and check in with the QR code. If you don't have a mask on arrival, you will be able to buy one for $1.50.

***IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT***
Effective from December 1st ALL PEOPLE (including patients, family members and staff) are required to wear single use surgical masks when on healthcare sites including pharmacies (cloth masks are not sufficient for healthcare settings).

Pharmacies are also now required to have a COVID Safe Check-In System.

We have a QR code and can manually take details for contact tracing purposes at this time. Please wait at the table inside the door to have your details taken before entering the pharmacy.

Please be patient and work with us during this rapidly evolving time.

Thank you for your understanding.

(This advice has come directly from SA Health and the Government. We have also been advised by the Pharmacy Board to carry out these measures)

Don't forget about the Flu!

We have a small supply of 2020 flu vaccines in stock.

You do require a prescription from the doctor and it will need to be taken to the nurse on campus to be administered.
