So even the locals appear to be excited at becoming Lost among the Wildflowers! Spotted this morning, this lovely lady was unfortunately all dressed up but a little bit early.

If you’re thinking feathers may seem too dressy for our bushland event, then we’d have to disagree! Dress code is smart casual and if that includes a feather or two then go for it.

Join us as we gather in nature to celebrate connection, community, and support for families impacted by dementia.

Wishing all the wonderful women in our Dementia Doula universe a happy International Women’s Day!

Feeling pretty pumped after attending the International Women’s Day breakfast this morning with our amazing team Lorrie, Nina and Louise and over 3000 others. 😊

Kindness is Blooming 🌷

2 incredibly generous supporters have donated four double passes to our bushland gala so others can attend as a gift.

This is certainly in the spirit of Lost in the Wildflowers, connection, inclusion and care and we are incredibly grateful for this pay it forward gesture!

If you would like to nominate yourself or someone deserving of a beautiful afternoon among the wildflowers, just pop your name in the comments or send us a message to hello@dementiadoulas.org.au to go in the draw.

If you would like to attend or gift someone else a ticket or two, just head to:

What a wonderful day 1 at the Australian Institute of Intergenerational Practice conference in Sydney! A day full of hope and passion for a more united future thanks to the intergenerational space.

It was such an honour to be a speaker, sharing the important role Dementia Doulas will continue to contribute in this space.

It was incredibly inspiring to hear from Dr Stephanie Ward who shared her work with the ABC series - Old people’s home for 4 year olds/teenagers!
