Drawing on principles of chiropractic, somatic therapy, eastern traditions and mindful awareness, Spinal Energetics facilitates the release of tension, trauma, and blockages held in the body.

We are in that time of the year again.

That time when we forget to find our grounding. When carving out precious time for ourselves becomes so difficult.

Something I have to keep reminding myself is that there is nothing more important to do in my day other than to regulate myself. To connect with myself fully. To find ease in the chaos. Peace in the business.

Because everything else flows from there.

This feeling of connection feels powerful, pogniant and easeful - even if simultaneously painful or uncomfortable - and is ultimately worth it.

Why do homeopaths ask SO many questions?

Well, if you're new to homeopathy, you might still be trying to wrap your head around the type of information homeopaths really want to know.

Even if you're a regular user it's not always easy to know what symptoms to use to select your home remedy.

So here is an example.

This is exactly why homeopaths can never tell you what remedy to take without asking lots of questions!

In the example of fatigue or exhaustion we need to narrow down our list of remedies from a potential pool of hundreds. For this we need to understand more specific information about the fatigue.

In this example we can find a rubric which is much smaller, and more specific to my client's symptoms. This helps me select a really individualised remedy, unique to that person.

I welcomed them in, Mum, Dad, and their gorgeous fidgety, wriggly, giggly and exuberant 7 year old. They came in, got comfy and we talked.

We talked about everything.

The challenges, the joy, the heartache. From fears, to digestive upset, to scattered thinking, to skin complaints. The love within this family was palpable.

And then came my questioning about sleep.

Discomfort entered the room. Mum and Dad admitted guiltily – and with an abundance of reasons, excuses and explanations that their child slept with them at night.

But of course this is okay.

In fact, what if I told you this was perfectly natural, perfectly supportive, and perfectly developmentally appropriate?

This isn’t the cause of the child’s challenges… it’s a reasonable and loving response to them… and to the needs of all children.

When parents come to see me with their child there is no need to explain these things. Love connection and responsive parenting is up there with the best medicine we can give any child.
