We want to talk detoxes.
They can feel like instant relief, but it is worth asking what is happening long term. If you feel like you are always “needing a detox”, it might be a sign that something in your daily environment needs attention.
Our take: when you choose clean, nourishing foods and reduce the everyday load where you can, your body is already doing what it is designed to do.
A few simple places to start:
- Prioritise whole foods and quality protein
- Healthy sleep and circadian rhythm (Our family watch the sunrise together each morning)
- Support digestion with fibre and natural minerals like sea salt and oysters
- Reduce what you can control in your environment, like ultra-processed foods, harsh chemicals poor light/blue-light and outdoor time
- Walking, love and community connection (simple is best)
