Hey, it's Laura here. I wanted to take a moment to remind you of our purpose at Dot to Dot Early Intervention.

At our heart we're here to change your child's world so they don't need therapy. For a lot of our children this means helping you understand them, and supporting you to make their world a safe, stimulating and wonderful place.

Although therapy looks a bit different for each child, at the end of the day we want to help your child learn by providing you with the skills that will allow them to:

- communicate more easily
- eat and drink more foods
- feel calm at home, kinder or school
- feel strong, capable and proud

We know raising children with developmental differences and neurodiversity can be joyful and challenging, and we're here to help you through it. Thank you for allowing us to do this important work and for saying yes to letting us walk this path with you.

We wholeheartedly agree with Andrew Whitehouse’s comments below regarding the life-changing impacts of early intervention. At Dot to Dot EI, we know that the earlier children receive support, the better their outcomes.

We are a neurodiversity affirming Early Intervention clinic, aiming to provide children and families with support, knowledge, and understanding.

How early can we support children who might have autism?

"What happens if we listen to parents at that six to 18 months of age when they know their baby's developing differently? And provided a therapy support that helps babies learn in the way that's best for them. Not the way that's the best for everyone else.”

Andrew Whitehouse says getting a diagnosis or help for your child with autism used to be like ‘the wild west’. After the professor helped write the national guidelines in 2018, the world of autism assessment in Australia has radically changed.

Now parts of Australia are also running early intervention programs for babies as young as young as six months who are showing early differences in their social and communication skills.

We're getting our new, big, sensory safe clinic ready to welcome families!

Alongside Pete from the Awesome Foundation and Lions Club of Geelong South Barwon Inc. our Director Laura Harvey has been working hard to make the space as wonderful as our team.
