Tech Together’s final session for the year will be on Monday, 22/12/25.

We’ll return for our first session of 2026 on Monday, 12/01/26, with the same existing times/dates.

1:1 and group sessions will continue as usual in the holiday break, and if you’d like to book any additional sessions, please feel free to reach out — I anticipate there may be some cancellations over the holiday period.

It would be greatly appreciated if you could let me know in advance if your young person is unable to attend any sessions leading up to the end of the year, or between 12/01/26 and the start of Term 1 on 28/01/26.

Expression of Interest – LEGO Social Group (Ages 8–14)

I’m looking to start a small LEGO social group on Friday afternoons at 4:00pm for young people aged 8–14.

Participants will be able to work on anything from small to large LEGO or Technic sets, free build or collaborate with others on a themed group build.

The group will likely start mid-January or early Term 1, depending on interest and numbers.

Groups will be small (4–5 participants) to keep things calm, creative, and social.

If this sounds like something your child would enjoy, please comment below, send a message or complete our 'expression of interest' form to express your interest!

Since launching our Minecraft server, the creativity and teamwork of our participants has been incredible! From collaborative villages and intricate redstone machines to wild imaginative builds, it’s been amazing to see our server transform and evolve.

We’ve put together this post to celebrate and showcase all the effort our participants have put into creating this awesome Minecraft world!

If you’re a parent, grandparent, or carer, it would be wonderful if you could share this post with the young people in your care. Seeing their creations recognised and celebrated online can really boost their sense of agency, self-esteem, and pride in what they’ve achieved.

We have had some awesome moments over the past few weeks and feel that it would be nice to share some of what we have been seeing.

One of our adult participants has been hands-on and curious, testing out our new digital microscope and even helping to install monitor brackets—lifting our screens to eye height and clearing up desk space.

We’ve also seen one of our one-on-one participants make the step into group sessions. The way everyone welcomed them in was inspiring—one participant even sat alongside them, played Minecraft, and worked with them on a build. It’s moments like these that highlight the importance of community.

We’ve noticed how supportive and accommodating participants can be when given a little encouragement and a safe space. One participant who usually sticks to a specific gaming interest was gently encouraged by a peer to play with them —a team-based game where they laughed, talked strategy, and celebrated small wins together. An awesome sight to observe!

These small but powerful moments remind us that what we’re building is more than just a place to play games—it’s a space for growth, connection, and genuine community.

We’re now finishing up our third week of the Build & Design Lego Social Group (building bridges), and the creativity has been flowing, as well as the hilarious banter!

It’s been amazing to see how engaged everyone has been – most participants have spent the majority of their time building, designing, and sharing plenty of banter while they work. Even better, they’ve been working together, helping each other hunt down pieces or teaming up to tackle a challenge.

So far, we’ve explored designing unique cars and sturdy bridges, with some creations using unique Lego/Technic parts. A few participants have even experimented with Lego motors and gears to take their builds to the next level!

It’s been inspiring to watch these sessions bring together creativity, problem-solving, and social connection – and we can’t wait to see what they’ll come up with next.

We are almost there!!!

Kicking off again on Monday 28th July (standard sessions start 21/7/25), our LEGO social group is just around the corner – and we can’t wait to build, create, and connect with you all!

We've also launched our brand new LEGO station, and it's already a hit! Participants have been loving the organised layout and easy-to-use design. It's sparked some incredible creations full of imagination and ingenuity – we’re so proud of what’s already being built!
