🌿 NOW HIRING: Yard Maintenance Worker (Casual) – PossAbilities Support Services

Location: Rockhampton Region
Hours: Casual – 15 hours per fortnight
Pay Rate: $33.00 per hour + Superannuation
Equipment: All tools and equipment supplied & maintained

PossAbilities Support Services is looking for a reliable and friendly Yard Maintenance Worker to help keep our participants’ homes safe, tidy, and welcoming. This role involves providing general lawn and garden care for people with disabilities throughout the Rockhampton region.

This position would suit a semi-retired person, someone looking for a few extra hours, or anyone who enjoys working outdoors and making a meaningful difference in the community.

💼 About the Role

You will be responsible for:

General lawn mowing and edging

Garden tidy-up and basic pruning

Removal of green waste

Keeping outdoor spaces safe and accessible

Providing respectful and friendly service to participants

We provide all equipment, including ride on and push mower, whipper snipper, tools, fuel, and PPE—fully maintained by us.

✔️ What We’re Looking For

Someone reliable, friendly, and able to work independently

A passion for outdoor work

Current Manual Driver’s Licence

Ability to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check

Physically capable of yard and garden tasks

Respectful and supportive attitude toward people with disabilities
