Spicy New Orleans Inspired Shrimp 🦐😋

Recipe:

Go heat up your largest skillet and serve up a big batch of these DELICIOUS fiery shrimp tonight!

Slightly to moderately spicy depending on the hot sauce you choose. Feel free to add more or less hot sauce according to YOUR personal spiciness desires.

Serve your spicy shrimp with a side of brown rice or quinoa, and collard greens or broccoli to round out your meal.

These shrimp are awesome for food prep too! Cooked shrimp stay good in the fridge for 2-3 days.

makes about 4 servings

Ingredients
1.5 lbs raw tiger shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 Tbsp smoked paprika
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp dried oregano
sea salt and pepper to taste, about 1/4 teaspoon each
4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
2 Tbsps ghee, clarified butter, or unrefined coconut oil
1 Tbsp avocado oil, or olive oil
2 Tbsps hot sauce of your choice
1 Tbsp coconut aminos
juice from 1 fresh lemon
2 Tbsps fresh parsley chopped

Instructions:

Thoroughly rinse your shrimp with cold water and pat the excess moisture with a paper towel.

Place shrimp in a large bowl, then sprinkle shrimp with all dry seasonings and stir well to coat. Allow shimp to marinate, refrigerated for at least 15 minutes, up to an hour.

In a heavy skillet, heat ghee and oil together over medium-high heat.

Once hot, add in minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.

Reduce the heat to low and immediately add in the hot sauce, coconut aminos, and lemon juice. Simmer for few just a few seconds whisking constantly.

Stir in your marinated shrimp and cook over medium heat, until your shrimp is opaque, and evenly covered with the spicy sauce, about 2 minutes per side.

Once your shrimp are cooked through, remove from the heat, garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve!

Simple and easy salad by  🥗 As the base, I cut up 3-4 Persian cucumbers, 1 sliced avocado, quartered a handful of strawberries, chopped a handful of fresh mint, and mixed it all together. You can use whatever veggies (or fruit) you prefer, but this lineup was terrific. For the dressing, I drizzled some good olive oil and added some sea salt + pepper. Thats it, nothing crazy. If you want to add some acidity, feel free to squeeze on some lime or lemon. And finally, topped it off with some creamy Bulgarian feta and a handful roasted pecans. Give it a good mix and enjoy with your favorite protein or just as is

💗Cauliflower Salad! 💚 Parmesan, Bacon & Chives 🤤

RECIPE:
♥ One whole cauliflower
♥ 100g Diced bacon
♥ 1/4 cup mayo
♥ Chives
♥ 1 tblsp nutitional yeast
♥ Salt & pepper
♥ Vegetta stock powder
♥ Olive oil to fry bacon
♥ Garlic & onion granules/powder
♥ Shredded Parmesan
Chop cauliflower & place into a saucepan of boiling water. Drain when cooked. I added some vegetta stock powder into the water whilst cooking as well. Fry bacon, garlic & onion granules in olive oil. Add all ingredients in with the cauliflower and mix! Best the next day for leftovers/meal prep! 🙌🏻👌🏻
