“I’m sure many funeral directors would agree, being guided by families is at the heart of what we do.

Understanding this and in such emotional moments, expectations may not always be met despite our best efforts, in which I carry that with deep respect.

I personally, deeply value cultural and personalisation of ones wishes and always strive to honour them. At times, some requests may not be possible, and I approach those moments with the utmost care, honesty, and respect.

Which is why kind words shared by families mean so much. Thank you Lisa and family for trusting us. Hand on heart I appreciate your words.

🕊 Gineen, if heaven had a phone line, I’d call to tell you how proud you’d be of your loving husband Bob, your beautiful children Lisa and Lee, and your sister Desiree. They honoured your final wishes and gave you the intimate farewell you wanted.

Through the tears and heartfelt tributes, there was also laughter and shared memories, especially from your “favourite” niece, who shall remain unnamed incase she appointed that title herself 😂. Thank you Bob & Lisa for the respect you gave and trusting me to look after your wife, Mum.

It is our duty and privilege to serve families during one of the most emotional times in their lives.

To be trusted during such a time, and to earn the respect of the families we support, means the world to us.

Jarrod, this past week I witnessed just how deeply you were loved. You will truly be missed by so many. It was an absolute honour to be guided by your beautiful family as we prepared to give you the farewell you deserved.

Papa Tom — Your words of wisdom from day one are something I will always be grateful for. Thank you Tom, Anna and family, Chan and the boys for allowing us to guide your family during this time. You hold a very special place in our hearts.
