My 6 year old client presented me with this gorgeous sun pillow today 🌞

She made it over the school holidays, especially to join our other cushions in the clinic wait room (rainbows and clouds) for everyone to enjoy .collab. What an inciteful and thoughtful act of kindness ❤️

It was too cute to not share!

We have been working together on improving Introception (body awareness eg: I'm hungry; I'm cold; I need to use the toilet) and emotional regulation.

It's that time of year again! Boy that goes quickly.
I've just renewed my Registration with the Australian Kinesiology Association, which ensures that my skills, knowledge, qualifications and service delivery are of a high standard, and that I am continuing to update my skills on a yearly basis (which I absolutely love doing!).
This past year I have attended a lot of mentoring, networking and small business management hours to help improve my services, as well as a 5 day course on how to fine tune your energy centres by activating specific acupoints. These techniques can have a profound impact on physical and neurological pain and the results have been really interesting in clinic.
Also, I'm not sure if I've mentioned on social media yet, that I have just started a Diploma of Counselling? So this is keeping me very busy for this next year of Continuing Professional Development (CPD)!

And in my personal life, I have recently started reformer Pilates to help improve my posture and core strength. I have been amazed at how quickly I am progressing and the results I am noticing.

Sending you a rainbow for your long weekend ✨️ 🌈 ✨️

I was just sitting here in my clinic having a glum moment after a heavy week and some uncertainty about the future location of my business...when up popped this beautiful moment outside my window between the chill, wind and rain. It's actually a double rainbow and extended the full arc! There's always a light to shine the way! And change and letting go can be a wonderful way to move forward.
(But i will miss this view!)

Me: "How is the pain in your back now?"
Client: "What pain? I can't even feel any pain now! You're a miracle worker, Jennie!"

This was a conversation with my client after our session together today.

She had been experiencing 3 days of chronic back pain through her thoracic area (ribs). It rated at 7/10 on the pain scale, was restricting her movement, and also her breathing.

It still blows me away how rubbing on a bunch of Accupressure points to balance energy in the body can make so much difference! But it does! And miracles can seemingly occur.

I have recently learned a whole new body of work through a course I've completed, The Seven Chi Keys.

It uses a unique approach to balancing and unblocking energy circuits in the body by using particular sets of accupressure points, specific to each client. The results are amazing and work very effectively with pain and neurological disorders.

Perhaps it could work on your pain, too?
