Practice Update – January 2026

We’d like to share a few important updates with our patients and community:

🔧 System Migration & Online Booking Interruption
HotDoc online bookings will be unavailable from 8–12 January due to a system upgrade.
📞 Please call the practice during this time to make appointments.

🚪 Practice Closure – Friday 9 January
Boddington Medical Centre will be closed on Friday 9 January to complete the system migration. We thank you for your understanding.

👋 Farewell to Dr Sarah Jane
It is with Sadness that we have to say Goodbye to Dr Sarah Jane, as She will be moving to the next stage of her GP Specialist Training in Northam.
Dr Sarah Jane’s last day with us will be Wednesday 29 January.
We thank her for her wonderful care and wish her all the very best.

👋 Welcome Dr Mustafa Ali
We are pleased to welcome Dr Mustafa Ali, who will be joining our team from Monday 2nd February. Appointment bookings will be available soon.

Please submit any urgent requests to your regular Doctor by Thursday evening.

October is Breat Cancer Awareness Month.

While we may be a small regional community without local screening services, that won’t stop us from partnering with you to taking action to raise awareness, promote early detection, and stand by those affected by breast cancer.

Repeat Prescriptions and Repeat Referrals are now available online.

Over the last week we have launched a new website and some new services. It's important that you make yourself aware of the terms and conditions of using the repeat script and referral service.

Complete FAQ's are now available on our Website, and you will be asked to Agree to the Terms and Conditions before you proceed with the service.

Our hope is that this will help us free up a number of appointments during the day, alleviate wait times, and help those who live out of town with travel burdens.

There is no Bulk Billing option available for this service.

It’s a sad day all round at BMC as we wish a friend, a patient, and a man who has helped with every leaking tap, creaking door or blown light bulb, a Bon Voyage and Safe Travels.

You have saved many a day of maintenance issues Toby, I’m sure Boddington at large will agree we are all losing a gem.

To you and the family, we wish you all the best for your trip, and if Sweden ever has enough of you, always know you’ll always be welcome back.
