It's a bit of a sombre morning at BMC today as we prepare to farewell a colleague and friend this morning.

From all of us at Boddington Medical Centre, we would like to sincerely thank Dr Sarah Jane Hearne as she prepares to finish with the practice today.

Sarah Jane has been a valued and compassionate member of our team, providing thoughtful, dedicated care to our patients and contributing positively to the culture of our practice. Her commitment to learning, her professionalism, and the respect she has shown to both patients and colleagues have been greatly appreciated.

As Sarah Jane moves on to the next stage of her GP Specialist Training, we wish her every success in her future career. She will be missed by the team and by many patients who have come to know her during her time in Boddington.
Thank you, Sarah Jane, for your contribution to our community and to Boddington Medical Centre. We wish you all the very best for the road ahead.

We will be closed on Monday due the Australia Day Long Weekend

We have been informed by Pathwest this afternoon that they will in all Liklihood be closed tomorrow (Friday 23rd Jan). They need to send a stand in for Alan from Narrogin, and if the road closure persists this will not be possible.

If things change overnight, we will update this post.

Practice Update – January 2026

We’d like to share a few important updates with our patients and community:

🔧 System Migration & Online Booking Interruption
HotDoc online bookings will be unavailable from 8–12 January due to a system upgrade.
📞 Please call the practice during this time to make appointments.

🚪 Practice Closure – Friday 9 January
Boddington Medical Centre will be closed on Friday 9 January to complete the system migration. We thank you for your understanding.

👋 Farewell to Dr Sarah Jane
It is with Sadness that we have to say Goodbye to Dr Sarah Jane, as She will be moving to the next stage of her GP Specialist Training in Northam.
Dr Sarah Jane’s last day with us will be Wednesday 29 January.
We thank her for her wonderful care and wish her all the very best.

👋 Welcome Dr Mustafa Ali
We are pleased to welcome Dr Mustafa Ali, who will be joining our team from Monday 2nd February. Appointment bookings will be available soon.
