Carinity Fassifern Community Centre recently bid farewell to our administration officer extraordinaire, Kathy.

After 13 years with us here in Boonah, Kathy is moving on to commence the next chapter in her career.

Her dedication to our community members, clients, staff and families has left a lasting impression and she will be deeply missed by many.

Wanda is a mobile carer support service, bringing free, face-to-face support directly to communities across the Blue Mountains and regional Queensland.

Wanda travels across communities visiting towns, health services, community centres, and local events, to make sure carers can get the support they need – when and where it suits them.

Today we are running a cafe special as we celebrate the men in our lives for Father's Day.

'$2 coffee with every food purchase + lucky dip gift'

We also have some cool activities lined up such as lucky door prize, best dad joke competition, shave the balloon competition and more!

Come along and have some fun! Cafe is open from 9am till 12:30pm.

After 13 years of remarkable contribution to Carinity Fassifern Community Centre, our admin legend Kathy is moving on to commence the next chapter in her career.

In recognition to her dedication to our clients, staff, and families we will host a farewell celebration for Kathy at the community centre on September 12 at 12pm.

For catering purposes, please RSVP to attend by this Friday September 5.

Scenic Rim residents can get qualified for a new career in aged care or disability support – at NO COST to participants!

Courses start later this month at Carinity Fassifern Community Centre in Boonah and Carinity Illoura in Beaudesert.
