It is with profound sadness and deep respect that we share the passing of Dr Diana Rattray.

Diana commenced at Glen Iris Medical Group in January 1997 and devoted her career to caring for our community with extraordinary compassion, wisdom and dedication.

Over more than two decades, she had the privilege of caring for three generations of families — forming lasting relationships built on trust, kindness and genuine care.

Diana was not only a deeply valued colleague, but also a mentor, friend and steady presence within our practice.

Her commitment to her patients and to the values of general practice has left an enduring legacy.

Our thoughts are with Diana’s family, friends, colleagues and the many patients whose lives she touched.

She will be greatly missed and always remembered.

February is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month in Australia, shining a light on a disease that affects around 1,900 Australian women each year.

While awareness is vital, saving lives depends on ongoing research, earlier detection, and improved treatments.

Ovarian cancer can be difficult to detect early, as there are often no obvious signs. However, some women may experience one or more symptoms. These symptoms can be caused by other conditions, but if they are new, persistent, or unusual for you, it’s important to speak with your GP.
