Established in 2018, Associated Wellbeing Ltd provides unique and high-quality services to children and young people with complex mental health and social difficulties. The Elms is a therapeutic residential programme designed to support young people (ages 16-25) while they develop life and interpersonal skills. We hope to create a solid, caring and inclusive foundation that will facilitate their journey into independence.
We are a CQC-registered home, providing in-house mental health support as well as dialectical behavioural therapy through our registered clinical psychologist and DBT-trained nurses/staff members.
Our multidisciplinary team consists of a range of people including our: Consultant psychologist, consultant psychiatrist, OTs, education lead, criminal justice and forensic lead, safety and development lead, registered mental health nurses, support workers, DBT therapist, substance misuse practitioner, and the registered manager.
Our vision:
We practise a values-based and holistic model of care to make a positive impact on outcomes for young people and their families/carers. We empower children and young people and their parents/carers to make choices about their care and treatment, to set and achieve goals that are personally meaningful to them and to give them hope for their ongoing recovery.
Our values:
Working collaboratively: Our children and young people and their parents/carers are at the heart of everything we do
Respect and dignity: We treat everyone as individuals – whether child or young person, their families or carers, or staff. We celebrate diversity, seek to understand individuals’ needs, abilities and limits and strive to ensure they have the support they need to realise their ambitions and responsibilities in life.
