Isis Holt was born in Canberra, Australia, in 2001 and was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, a condition that affects how her muscles work. Despite her challenges, she discovered a love for athletics at age 14.

In 2015, just a year after starting the sport, Isis competed in her first international event at the World Championships in Doha. She shocked everyone by winning gold medals in both the 100m and 200m races, setting new world records. Her success continued at the 2016 Rio Paralympics, where she earned two silver medals and a bronze.

In 2017, Isis proved her determination once again, defending her titles and winning more gold medals at the World Championships in London. Despite getting sick before the event, she didn’t give up and pushed through.

At the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics, she won two more silver medals and set her personal best times. She has also been honoured with many awards, including Female Para-athlete of the Year several times.

Isis’s story is all about never giving up and believing that anything is possible, even with challenges. From starting athletics as a schoolgirl to becoming a Paralympic champion, she inspires people everywhere to follow their dreams no matter what obstacles they face.
