Five things to remember to help you stay grounded.
1. Stop worrying about the past, learn from it. Don't let it define you. We all have a past, we can use our past to build a new future.
2. Don't worry about the future, worry steals our peace, live presently. The present moment is where we will find true joy.
3. Don't wait for someone to make you feel whole, only you can do that, you have to love and validate yourself first, no one can do that for you.
4. Admire your inner strength for how far you have come against all the obstacles that you have faced. It is important to praise ourselves and our strength, don't wait for others to admire that for you.
5. Don't compare yourself to others, it will destroy your confidence. What you see on social media are only the good times people share, but in between we all have our own private struggles and challenges.
Take time to be kind to yourself and get off social media, have other activities that ignites joy and happiness .
