At Wholehearted Nutrition we love to empower clients to take control health of their health using wholefoods, RIGHT FOR YOU!

HAPPY MONDAY!!!

How are you starting your week?

What level of self care do you practice or want to start to add to your daily routine?

Meditation?

Drinking more water on a daily basis?

Eating more veggies?

Eating breakfast?

Batch cooking to have a healthy option ready to re-heat on those busy nights?

Exercising 3 - 4 days a week?

How do I fit in self care into a busy day?

Take 2 water bottles to work to ensure I have 2 litres of filtered water to drink at work.

Make more dinner and pack for lunches the next day for myself and my kids.

Exercise after dinner - even if its 15 minutes on the exercise bike whilst using light hand weights. Then 10 minutes of stretching, hand weights, own body weight exercise.

Listen to a meditation as I go to sleep each night.

Those simple things and doing what I can when I can, but consistently through the week, I have noticed a big difference in quality of sleep, tone, strength, feeling calm, happy and being organised.

Have a look what you have in the cupboard in the way of herbs, spices, teas that you can use.

Pack in the vegetables at each meal and eat a variety of lean protein.

A good laugh is medicine in itself. As we get stressed and run around doing the day to day, we sometimes forget to laugh.

I feel like I need to just laugh so I don't cry, and depending on those hormones that are taking us on the roller coaster ride of the next change in life, who knows what emotion we let out.

Laughing has so many benefits, and keeping positive - glass half full attitude will help with you soldier on through the day.....

All the small things you can do to support your immune system will add up to make a tangible difference to your overall health, now and into the future.
