They say, "Count your rainbows before your thunderstorms," but we're counting yesterday's rainfall as a beautiful sight!
This photo was captured at our Paskeville site by Site Manager Jarrad Manley in South Australia, where they received 16 mm throughout the day - while the surrounding growing regions received even more. The recent rains across SA will go a long way toward increasing crop subsoil moisture levels.

Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming 40 first-year Agribusiness students from Marcus Oldham College to our Bridgewater site. The students received a tour of our processing facilities and learned about the important role the fodder industry plays in both local and global livestock markets, and in supporting local farming businesses.

We are pleased to be partnering once again with the Adelaide University Agricultural Students Association and Marcus Oldham to offer two internship opportunities this coming season to work alongside our Grower Services teams.

Our team of crop inspectors have been taking in the views while conducting pre-tillering inspections over the past few weeks. This season has proved to be very different to the last, with unusually dry conditions across Australia. Thankfully, most cropping areas have seen good growth since receiving some much needed rainfall.

Last month we were lucky enough to have Nat & Alice join our team to learn all about fodder export, as part of our internship program with Adelaide University Agricultural Students Association.

Last night our Grower Services Team had the pleasure of attending the Grow The Futures event, chatting one-on-one with agricultural students about the many career prospects in Australian Fodder. We’re excited to be supporting the next generation of farmers, nutritionists, agronomists and innovators, and we look forward to having some of these students join our site teams during the upcoming harvest season.
