This week our staff and students came together to celebrate Harmony Week, an occasion that recognises our diversity and brings everyone from all backgrounds together.

Across Brisbane, Springfield and Townsville, our team hosted potluck lunches where everyone sampled food from many cultures and connected with their peers.

HEALTH HUB | SJC’s Health Hub has started for 2026 with a new cohort of excited students ready to explore the world of Health Care!

The College’s Health Hub facility is fully equipped to provide industry-standard health training to our students.

Working with Mater Education, students will complete a Certificate II in Health Services and a Certificate III in Health Assistance. These qualifications open a wide range of options that our students can follow into the Healthcare industry

We look forward to following their journey together in 2026.

In celebration of Neurodiversity Celebration Week, our Learning Skills team challenged everyone to think outside the box… or rather, outside the bowl! 🥣✨

From wine glasses to shoes, a conch shell and even an unused bedpan (?!), our teachers and students showed that flexible, creative thinking can be joyful, inclusive and deliciously fun at an “anything but a bowl” breakfast. 💡😄

Here’s to honouring the diverse ways we solve problems, share ideas — and apparently, enjoy breakfast! 💚

Our teachers and students hit the pavement for the Mater Chicks Pink International Women's Day Fun Run yesterday!

They were among nearly 30,000 people statewide who ran, jogged, and walked across Queensland, creating a Sea of Pink for advancing breast cancer care and research.

To all of the participants - put your feet up for a well-earned rest!

There's a Sea of Pink across the state today as nearly 30,000 people take part in the Mater Chicks in Pink International Women's Day Fun Run.

More than 23,000 fun-runners have hit the pavement in Brisbane with thousands more taking to the streets in Townsville, Mackay, Rockhampton, Bundaberg and Springfield.

They're creating a wave of change to advance breast cancer care and research.
