This week is “National Chappy Week” to raise awareness and support for the value of School, Sport and Community Chaplains' and celebrate their fantastic work in our communities.

Shep has proudly been a Sports Chaplain since 2016; it began at his local Archery Club and more recently at Brother’s Rugby Union Club by providing pastoral care for the sports community, including athletes, coaches, administrators and their families.

It's been both a blessing to him and to these Clubs.

I love while driving silencing to 96five FM (& SU Australia) promoting “Chappy Week” - broadcasting and recognising all these important volunteers across we have across Australia.

We are proud to support our local Nambour Blue Demons Hockey Club Trivia Night fundraiser last night at Woombye Hall.

A lucky winner got to take home a Canaussie Safety Innovations First Aid kit along with some sweet wine as part of the silent auction at the event.
