This batch I made lastnight for some German Tourists that are arriving for a Healing Wānanga in a couple days, one of my amazing cousins is running🙏

I must say the Intention, Karakia & Aroha I put into this speaks volumes ❤️ it come out absolutely beautiful 😍

I went to take this photo just now and the first lid i opened was this and it has a natural heart shape right there. Bless 🙌

Why am I wearing Sunglasses in the Hohipera?

So she can't see how broken hearted I am!
So she can't see my swollen eyes from crying!
So I dont get asked any questions from randoms who see my tears silently falling!
So I have something to hide my pain behind!

I used to judge people who wore sunglasses inside, I will never do that again!

I get it now! 🙏

Today I took one of my daughters to the GP (pakeha). He was an amazing man & doctor. He really took the time to korero, he greeted us in Te Reo as well which was really lovely.

Anywho the reason for my post is this; He said to me " do you know about Rōngoa?"
I said "yea a little bit" 😆
Then he reckons i would wash the skin in kawakwa juice & if you know where to get some kawakawa cream from would be the best. 👀

I looked at him & said, thank you so so much im sure I can source some kawakawa moisturizer somewhere 😀❤️

Moral of the story is: RŌNGOA MĀORI all day!
