Status quo is boring.

If you don’t have goals, or drive, or conviction, or a vision, or a mission or an ounce of desire to not live the same year as last year…

Then status quo is probably what you need.

But there’s a massive problem with it.

Those who want to grow, probably don;t want the status quo.

Though so many of us keep it, especially when it comes to fitness and health.

Literally round the mountain over and over again.

It’s safe. It’s comfortable. It’s boring.

(PS if that’s you, you don’t have to stay like that. You’re not a tree, you can move. You can change)

Many of the conversations I’m having moving into 2026 with the people I work with is about growth.

For many, 2025 was a tough year.

One thing is certain though…

If you’re reading this, you got through it.

The status quo is boring because it doesn’t require growth.

Those of you chasing personal and professional growth…

I encourage you to first lean into your own fitness journey.

The lessons you must learn
The consistency you must develop
The growth you must commit to
The accountability you must obtain
The decisions you must make daily, weekly, monthly

All contribute to you becomming a better version of yourself

Perhaps 2026 is the year you get it done

I know one thing

On my mission dueing 2026 to leading 100 people to become the CEO of their body and mindset

Do you still look like your profile picture?

After spending so many years profiling criminals, I can’t help but notice trends.

I’ve noticed of late a trend between how people look in their profile photos (usually in their prime) and how they look now

What’s yours like?

Now I understand life happens and sometimes things are beyond our control

There is however plenty within our control to speak to

So I’m speaking to the ones who can do something about it, but choose not to.

For now anyway

It doesn’t need to be different

The you that you present in the profile photo can be the you that you present year round.

If you’ve put some weight on

If you’re run down

If you’re lacking energy and vitality

If you’re feeling the heat of the year that has been

If you’re not sure if you could defend your family if you needed to

I may have strayed a little far from the profile photo…

But that’s what a good coach does

They dig

They find out what you really mean

Then help you get there

That’s what I spend my weeks doing

And I LOVE it

So, the question to ask yourself today is…

Do you look like your profile picture?
