Lara is a qualified mental health practitioner with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, who strives to support and encourage those she engages with to live their best lives possible. Coming from a strengths-based way of living; the holistic recovery perspective endorses business, community and personal collaboration and upholds the tenancy of recovery around; hope, discovery, personal responsibility, connectedness to all, service and co-creation. Lara understands and promotes the truth that “we are all in this together,” and recognises that we are conscious creators, fully responsible for our own life experiences. Walking gently alongside those she engages and connects with daily; Lara builds trust through transparency and openness to in-still new hope and confidence in those groups or individuals, that we can all connect with each other and into every experience with courage, kindness, love, compassion, and harmony to increase the flow of this co-creative experience we call Life. Previously, Lara has worked in various capacities, including children’s education and care, mental health and disability community services, holistic health and healing modalities and raising awareness about matters passionate to her heart. She has worked for Organisations such as The Leukaemia Foundation and The Salvation Army and Guide Dogs Qld, and certainly walks her talk. Lara has worked to support professional case managers in community service to transition into recovery orientated practices, that promotes overcoming adversity through knowledge and resilience. An intuitive healer and channel, qualified NLP Practitioner and Life Coach, Lara began seeking a deeper understanding for the reason and purpose of her existence from an early age. Influenced by her deep interest in the healing arts and wanting to self-heal her own personal traumas, Lara has studied and practiced various modalities of natural healing techniques, including Reiki and Qi Gong and Taoism. In her private time, Lara enjoys being creative and transforming energy through music, singing, dancing, writing, nature photography, reading, meditation, yoga, and serving unconditionally to the best of her capacity.
