Waking up at 4.30am to honour the Soliders on ANZAC day Dawn Service was very important to many this past week-end and a few our clients and staff also attended the service at the Wynnum RSL then went home and enjoyed a warm cuppa and a ANZAC biscuit I'm sure.

ANZAC Day is this coming Saturday and a few of us from Care Nation will be attending the Dawn Service at the Wynnum RSL this year (starting at 5am). If you too would like to join us, please let us know.

Below is a delicious recipe (often home baked for our clients) by Tanya and is definitely worth baking for a special treat this week-end.

These commonly known ANZAC biscuits were once called Soldier biscuits during World War 1 and were often mailed to them from women back home as they have a long shelf life.

Such a beautiful tradition and one that will live on for many years to come. Lest We Forget.

What a morning! Easter bunny ears, chocolate treats, hot cross buns and a fruit salad were all shared on Sunday at our Easter Brunch with our clients, their families and our staff and from the looks of it, everyone had such a great time.

We hope everyone enjoyed their Easter break.

Saturday morning was all about Ten Pin Bowling for Lisa, Rob and Trevor and their support workers.

As you can see the laughter and smiles was amazing to see and they cannot wait to get a team together so they can continue to enjoy this activity.
