Brisbane’s own Sammy Snide is hitting the stage with a band of good-lookin’ roosters to play a mix of fresh releases and soon-to-be hits! Sammy’s sound is often described as modern Australiana — blending storytelling with country, folk, roots, blues, and a bit of rock. It’s the kind of mus...

It has been one month since Measure Once, Cut Twice was released. Thanks again to everyone who listened, liked, shared, tiktok'd, 'poked' and said needlessly flattering things about this bit of music. Spotify's data indicates that we have listeners in Spain, Singapore, Jordan, India, Indonesia (not Russia lol) and many other places. I have no idea how these folks might have found this album but your ears are appreciated.

Enough people in the Toowoomba area purchased the physical media to warrant a day trip - these people are getting their deliveries in person today. Many others ought to have received a record/CD/poster in the post by now (for those outside Australia, yours have been sent out but they might take a little while). Of course, there is plenty of merchandise still available if you'd like to jump on the band's wagon. Just shoot us a message or whatever.

10% of proceeds from those physical media will continue to go to Beyond Blue, now and forever.

Album available everywhere next week, here is a review by Elbury - a brilliant Brisbane band, give their page a like.

“Measure Once, Cut Twice” is the debut album from Brisbane piano-guitar duo, Treehouse Letters. Ten tracks of beauty, sadness, hope and yearning; the mostly unadorned guitar-piano arrangements leav…
