Still chasing some sports trainers for the 2025 season!!
JOB AD:
At Move Physiotherapy (MP), we offer flexible event medical, sports trainer and physiotherapy services to clubs, teams, tours and organisations across SEQ, Sydney and Melbourne. We cover a number of sports from Rugby League, AFL, and Soccer to Combat Sports, Beach Handball and Snowsports. With the rapid expansion and volume of enquires for MP to assist with filling these roles, we are looking for competent Sports Trainers to assist us. At present, we are seeking to fill a number of sub-contractor positions for Summer Sports inc. Cricket, Baseball, Basketball, Futsal and Gridiron. At locations across Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.
This role will primarily involve game day triage of acute sporting injuries, sports taping, concussion management and basic first aid support for varying individuals, teams or organisations. There will be optional coverage for team training sessions pending the request of the team. You will work closely with qualified and experienced sports physiotherapists to ensure the safety of the athletes in your care.

Required Qualifications:
• Certification as a Level 1 Sports Trainer at a minimum (or looking to get this soon), as well a valid First Aid, CPR, and WWCC
• Individual Personal and Public Liability Insurance (this includes your SMA Membership or APA/ESSA Student Membership)
Desirable:
• Own Transportation & Basic First Aid Kit
• Certification as a Level 2 Sports Trainer, or Allied Health Field - Sports Science, Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Paramedical Science
• Experience working with athletes and sports teams as a Sports Trainer or similar
• Basic knowledge of injury prevention and management techniques, sports taping and triage of acute sporting injuries
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility & ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team
