Australian work at home operators, work at home buyers and people who use Australia post - the organisation is losing $220 million per year in retail mail costs, thanks their CEO blames on the Internet. He is proposing that stamp costs rise in 2014 to 70 cents per stamp and I believe stamps are rising to 65 cents soon. No where does the CEO propose to tackle the poor service, long waiting lines, poor sorting staff, poor delivery service. All Australians need to get onto their federal mps and senators, to not increase postal costs but to fix up the other issues, that may then improve retail costs for the organisation. No way did I give Australia posts CEO or the federal government the mandate to increase stamp costs but I do give them a mandate to review the organisation, management, service delivery, costs for small business, work at home businesses. This is not a political blame game but rather make Australia post and their CEO much more accountable for the yearly lost revenue, not push for increasing costs and not pay the CEO any bonuses, performance incentives given thus yearly loss.
