Good evening to our local community. We trust that you are safe tonight.

Hawthorne Clinic will be open tomorrow from 7:30 am, although reduced staffing and appointment availability are possible, and we appreciate your understanding.

If you have an appointment scheduled for tomorrow, we will notify you as soon as practical if rescheduling is required and attempt to offer alternative appointments tomorrow.

To our local Hawthorne Clinic community,

Please be advised that the Practice will be closed tomorrow (Thursday 6th March), and Friday 7th March, due to Cyclone Alfred.

At this stage we intend to re-open on Monday 10th March, weather permitting.

If you have a matter that requires the urgent attention of the Practice, please email us at hawthorneclinic@hawthorneclinic.com.au.

For medical care whilst we are closed:
* Please call 000 in an Emergency, or;
* Visit your local Hospital Emergency Department, or;
* Visit the South Brisbane Medicare Urgent Care Clinic, located at 4/20 Cornwall St, Woolloongabba.

We hope everybody stays safe and we are sending positive thoughts to those in our community who might be affected by potential flooding.

This year at Hawthorne Clinic we are proudly celebrating our Centenary - with all 100 years in operation based at the same location!!

In January 1925, Dr St Ledger first hung out his shingle at 171 Riding Rd, at the location that was then known as 'Avon Lodge'.

To help us reflect on all the amazing people (on both sides of the counter) that have had an association with Hawthorne Clinic over this period, we would love for you to please share any stories, photos or memorabilia that may be of interest.
