Today, ASMOFQ attended a bargaining dispute in the QIRC regarding MOCA 7 negotiations.

ASMOFQ had written to the DG earlier seeking:

• no reduction in entitlements;
• approval of a bargaining framework;
• genuine consideration of both cost and non-cost claims
• written responses to the items discussed so far; and
• an undertaking that doctors will not suffer disadvantage if in-principle agreement is not reached by the end of July 2025

The QIRC has recommended that the DG urgently take all necessary steps to ensure that there is an approved Bargaining Framework for MOCA 7. We will have a report back conference on Thursday 29 May, and our next MOCA 7 meeting with QH will be on Monday 26 May.
