📢😱MAJOR LIFE UPDATE:

I’ve been sitting on this for a while now but it’s time to share that my biggest obsession (optimal health and being my best) is now moving beyond and coaching as the sole way I pursue this….

If you know me at all you know that my life centres around optimal health: Body, mind, spirit and everything that falls under this.

One area that I’ve really fought to navigate though is my Healthcare.

- finding good doctors/practitioners is hard
- Running around to appointments, referrals, scripts, scans etc even harder
- Knowing what actually works for me has taken years of trial and error
- Knowing what I should take (and not take) has been costly, confusing and at times overwhelming

I remember asking a GP once to run some
tests for me as a ‘health check’ of sorts… firstly he asked “what would you want that for?” as if it was useless to be interested without any physical complaints…

After finally persuading him, coming back again, waiting for him to run 45mins late for the appointment he announced that my health was ‘fine’ and his only advice (literally) was to “eat a few more Big Macs” in order to raise my slightly low cholesterol levels.

It was in that moment a seed was planted.

I realised I needed a better way to better health.

As someone who was overweight and desperately unhealthy (in many ways) and turned them around, I realised just how life changing that was for me.

I also know what it feels like to be told you’re ‘fine’ but know intuitively you could be better.

Like the quote reads- a well person has many wishes, while an unwell person has only one….

I get this. And with that, I have a big (perhaps crazy) dream where I want every man to be able to pursue their version of optimal health.

I literally want to raise the baseline health of the male species.

Yes, men first, and then following this, ladies we are coming for you. I’ll share exact details in coming weeks.

If this resonates for you give me a comment or a 💪🏽 in the comments. Or shoot me a dm of your experience.

Can’t wait to share this with you and give you all more!

Honestly, it’s taken 6 years to fully enjoy family holidays with the kids.

The first few years were a nightmare- realising over and over that ‘holidays’ were now dictated by sleep times, feeds and routines.

Then the fact that they aren’t really relaxing, but rather ‘parenting in a different location’…. Full of all the stuff that I’m least skilled at- no routine, seemingly constant nagging and refereeing.

But now, with a 6 and 3 year old, it’s getting good. Like really good. Probably equal parts me finally accepting its realities and also the kids now more autonomous.

While my post may have started like a whinge, I’m now realising each day how lucky I truly am, and how the little moments, even sometimes the ones I find annoying, will be the ones I long for and reminisce on in short time.

Like most great things, there’s a hell of a lot of work and slog to get the short moments of contentment… and they are so so worth it.

If you’re a parent and can relate, I highly recommend listening to our latest Awakened A players podcast guest - she’s a genuine expert in the space and will leave your cup fuller for the listen. Check the link in my bio for both the video and audio podcast versions 👌

If you’re an OG follower you’ll know I do these mini getaways a few times a year.

Work hard. Rest hard. And the most effective way to rest is full immersion style. Funny that’s also the best way to learn & transformation yourself.

For now though I’m back and guns blazing 🏃‍♂️

This afternoon I visited a mate shortly before his life support was turned off.

He was a father of four. A husband, a son, a boss and a serious force of nature. He’d accomplished more in 5 years than most could in 5 lifetimes.

Frankly, it was beyond miraculous he even made it to life support. But he was that kinda guy. All in. He lived life against the odds and more often than not the cards fell his way. Sadly though, nobody gets it right 100% of the time.

Tonight, as I move through my routine in a semi haze, knowing his wife and mother are saying their last goodbyes as I write, I notice the little things; my kids wanting a cuddle. My breath. Their words. The sunset. My mates face.

What I don’t notice are the frustrations I had a few hours before; my uber order not turning up, business stress, my sore shoulder.

Real s**t always bears the gift of humbling our perspective.

I pray and hold some kind of hope for my friend’s children, his family, his friends. I try and send love wishing that it somehow helps, yet knowing full well that hardcore grief is setting in.

As I took a moment outside the hospital I noticed life racing by. People going places. Things getting done. Life indeed goes on.

I don’t have a profound message here. You’ve heard it all before. The little things matter most. The moments we so often skip over or wish away. All while focussed on the “major issues” that don’t mean anything at all when tragedy strikes.

I don’t believe it’s possible to live constantly with this level of clarity, but it is possible to hold a hug that one second longer. Breathe one more mindful breath upon rising each day. Say one more heartfelt thank you each night.

Just BE in the actually important moments one second longer-as often as possible. Soaking them up. That’s my plan at least.

And like I told my mate when I said goodbye earlier, I won’t stop using the ways in which he inspired me to bring more light to more people more often. Thank-you for that brother.

Whatever you’ve been sitting on- if you know it’s right-Just go and do the fcking thing. Life is too short.

RIP brother. 🕊️ You crazy motherf*cker 💪🏽

🔊🔊The ‘Success Hangover’ — Why Big Wins Often Leave us Feeling Empty

In my own transformation from fat to fit, addict to clean, losing to winning I felt this a lot…

You finally hit the goal. The promotion. The business milestone. The dream house.

The achievement you swore would make you feel whole.

And for a moment, you do…but annoyingly quickly.. you feel flat. Almost numb.

Looking for the next thing.

That’s the Success Hangover — the strange emptiness that creeps in after you’ve been chasing something for so long... only to realise it didn’t deliver the feeling you were secretly hoping for.

Here’s why it happens:

➡️ You tied your worth to the outcome. You believed that once you ‘arrived,’ you’d finally feel enough.

➡️ You ignored the inner whispers. While you were busy proving yourself, you silenced the part of you that knew this wasn’t the answer.

➡️ You sacrificed too much of yourself in the process. You pushed harder, worked longer, numbed with wine or endless to-do lists — but never stopped to ask if this was what you really wanted.

The truth? Achievement feels empty when it’s built on self-abandonment.

But there’s good news...

That hollow feeling isn’t a sign you’re broken. It’s a sign you’re ready for something deeper.

✨ You’re ready to build a life that’s aligned — not just impressive.
✨ You’re ready to create success that feels as good as it looks.
✨ You’re ready to stop chasing and start arriving.

This is the work we do inside our program.

We help ambitious people reconnect with themselves, break free from patterns of overworking and self-abandonment, and create a life that’s rich with purpose — not just pressure.

If this resonates, send me a DM with the word ALIGN — I’d love to share how we can help you break the cycle and create a success story that feels truly yours.

You don’t have to keep running. You just need to remember who you are. It’s all about alignment.

Proud and humbled to hear about my Mum’s 58 years of service as a nurse at the Mater hospital at her retirement party today.

It’s funny, you can spend a lifetime being raised by someone yet still not fully know certain facets of their life.

It really was a different world in many ways and tbh I question if I’d be able to carry as much as she has.

I’m so grateful for the work ethic, loyalty, resilience and honour she has taught me. I don’t think she’s going to slow down at all but hope this next chapter is focused on her after so many being spent giving to others. Love you mum 🙏
