Today I did my 2nd ever TikTok LIVE 🥹🌱
My mind had a million reasons why I shouldn’t… but my intuition said “go live anyway.”
So I listened… and it ended up being SO much fun 😄🌽✨
Sometimes your next level is on the other side of doing it scared.
💬 Have you ever had a moment where your intuition told you to step forward?

Boost health with superfoods… even when they taste yuk at first. 😅
In this video I’m mixing cacao powder and moringa powder with a little honey. First sip, absolutely not. Second round with more honey, much better. The truth is, these kinds of health foods don’t always taste amazing straight away, but they do a lot for your body.
Moringa brings plant based protein, iron and vitamins that support energy, immunity and focus. Cacao is rich in magnesium and antioxidants that support mood, heart health and brain function. Honey adds natural sweetness plus soothing, antimicrobial properties.
Sometimes the “yuk then yum” combos are the ones quietly looking after you in the long run. 💚

My Daniel’s Fast salad 🥗

Hormesis sounds like a big science word, but a lot of Africans have been doing it without knowing the name. 🌿
Small “stresses” like bitter herbs, strong spices and phyto chemicals in our traditional foods can gently challenge the body and make it more resilient over time, the same way exercise is a stress that makes you stronger. From moringa and bitter leaf to hibiscus and baobab, our plates have always carried these tiny doses of medicine.
This is your reminder that African food is not just comfort, it is chemistry working in your favour. 💚

My quick healthy breakfast… egg, sweet potato and a little chilli heat. 🍳🍠🌶️
Protein for staying power, slow release carbs for steady energy and spice to wake everything up. This is the kind of simple African plate that keeps me full without feeling heavy. Save this for those mornings when you want real food, not cereal from a box.

Best morning breakfast for the Daniel’s fast… especially if you still want real flavour.
During a fast it is so easy to under eat or get bored with the same plain bowl every day, and then your energy crashes. So this is what I make instead.
I start with muesli, coconut shavings and dehydrated berries, then add almonds, flaxseed meal, moringa, cacao powder and h**p. All plant based, no added sugar, Daniel fast friendly.
Flaxseed has a long history in North Africa, cacao is grown in places like Ghana in West Africa, and moringa powder is common from central to southern Africa, so this bowl quietly pulls in the whole continent.
Moringa brings extra iron and nutrients to support energy and focus while you are fasting.
I mix everything with plain coconut yoghurt and almond milk, then sweeten with prunes and a ladyfinger banana for natural sweetness and fibre.
Simple, filling, and it keeps you going through those first morning hours of the fast.
Save this as a Daniel’s fast idea and follow for more African inspired breakfast tips.

Learning how to make sorghum porridge is such a small thing, but it changes your breakfast game. 🌾
Real fibre, real fullness, real connection to where we come from. Save this if you want more African grain recipes.

Sorghum benefits go way beyond “old school porridge.” 🌾
It’s a traditional African grain that brings fibre for your gut, slow release energy for steady blood sugar and nutrients that actually keep you full and satisfied. African grains belong on a modern wellness plate, not just in our memories. 💚
Save this if you want to use sorghum more this year.
