Stirrup strapping technique for foot support 👣

Demonstrated by Thomas Hall.

Simple, effective, and a game changer for stability when done right.

Key tips while applying:
• Start with clean, dry skin
• Keep the foot in a neutral (90°) position
• Anchor through the midfoot first
• Run the tape under the arch and up both sides
• Apply firm tension - don’t over-tighten
• Tom suggests doing this a few times!
• Smooth out any wrinkles
• Always check circulation (no numbness or tingling)
• Lock it in with final anchor around the calf - keeping the tape secure, distributing tension, and helping everything stay in place

Support the foot without restricting movement. It should feel secure - not painful.

Small details like this can make a big difference in performance and injury prevention ✨

Getting to school actively is a great way to keep both kids and adults moving. While today celebrates riding, it doesn’t have to be a bike - walking, scootering, skating, or any active way to get to school all counts for students, teachers, and parents too.

Just remember: no matter how you are getting to school, supportive shoes are still important. Good footwear helps provide stability, protect your feet, and reduce strain on the feet and ankles throughout the day.

Few tips:
🦶 Make sure bikes or scooters are the right size
👟 Wear supportive shoes
