The larger the serving size of food, or the container it comes in, the greater likelihood a person will eat more of it. This effect, called portion distortion, can easily lead to passive over-consumption and with that real increases in the risk of obesity and its connected diseases.

Love this diagram.. There is no one size fits all with working out carbohydrate intake . Training intensity , frequency and duration can all play a factor in determining carbohydrate intake . A very common thing I see is people "binging" on non training days and limiting intake on training days. Matching carbohydrate intake with your requirements will yield better results .
