Why it’s hard.
Whilst we’re on our own waka in learning our reo and sharing it amongst the home, it’s not an easy journey to be on at times.

Here’s a gentle reminder that:
🖤 Your ancestors will be proud of you for being brave enough to reclaim something that was taken from you, it wasn’t something you ever lost.

💚 Your tamariki will benefit in more ways than one for you being on this journey.

💙 We know how hard it is to go at it alone. Join in with us and encourage people around you for support too.

❤️ It isn’t going anywhere now. Take breaks when you need and your reo will continue to be there when you’re ready to pick it back up again.

Before our tamariki learn to count, to read, to speak clearly - they learn our love.

We’re not fluent. We’re just out here [like most] doing the best we can, with what we’ve got. You just need to start - intentionally. One word, often, and in real life.
