MY WEEK THAT WAS:
I had a cancelled session. I didn't post it as available, I moved my 6hr client to the morning so I could sort a few things that I had been putting off.
I worked on tidying my clients home. Starting off with their kitchen bench then progressed to the freezer and fridge. Their oldest child and I work on her bedroom, in each of our sessions. We work really well together.
I was asked to look for their daughter's dance certificate, I haven't found it yet..but with many hands in the house, things get misplaced.
My client asked me to help with her daughter's bedroom. To help create a calm environment. I worked my magic and was able to do just that.
My client worked really hard to get a lot of their washing done, so I could spend my time folding it..
I was sent a photo of a cupboard to organise. Once I finished organising that, my client and I worked on other area's around her home, creating easier access of things for their daughters.
My client said we were going to spend an hour working on their walk-in robe, but once we got started on their bedroom..we kept going. We accomplished a lot.
Because my client and his children hadn't been in the home much since I was last there, I worked on organising his home. I also collected every towel, hand towel, floor mat from around the house and washed them. This house has A LOT of bathrooms. I also went through the fridge (I had cleaned it last week) and took out all of the veg that had gone off.
When I got to my clients home, they were folding their washing. I took over after while, then tidied all of the clothes cupboards.

SCHOOL HOLIDAYS QUEENSLAND...don't forget to check those school bags for lunch boxes/forgotten food.
You don't want to find any science experiments in 2 to 3 weeks time..

Hey everyone.
I have a couple of available sessions coming up, but I waiting to hear back from my movers to see if they can come help me re-arrange my storage unit.. So one of these sessions will be snapped up by a client or the movers.
I will have availability for a Regular 3hr Monthly Client. Location is key, so this session will need to work with my Regular Ascot Session.

A lot of my clients tell me that the way I work is amazing to watch. Saying they feel incredibly overwhelmed by the whole thing and are impressed that I am able to look at it, work my butt off and accomplish amazing organised area's.

MY WEEK THAT WAS:
My client cancelled our 3hr session, so I moved my 6hr session earlier.
As soon as I walked in the door, I started working on clearing the surfaces of the dining table and desk. My client had ducked off to the gym and when she came back..I said "Look..I found you a dining table and a desk." We laughed and joked that she didn't know she had them. I also worked other area's where the children's things have taken over.
I am looking forward to the school holiday, so I can have a chat with one of the nannies at my clients. They had gotten rid of someone that use to do the folding, before I got there and then I would refold to make it all fit in the cupboards..their Nanny is now doing the same thing. I need to chat to her and tell her to stop. It's such a big waste of her time.
I spent some time working on my clients youngest's built in cupboard.
In the lead up to the holidays, I helped my client find where we had stored all of their travel linen. Due to the change of weather, I stripped the doona covers off all of the doonas.
This session was aimed at all of the folding, getting both of the washing area's tidied. When I was putting things away, I decided to tidy each area. My clients daughter came home from school and was so incredibly happy to see I had spent time in her room.
My client cancelled our session, so I moved my 6hr session earlier. Then came home to go for my first swim of the season!
I was asked to start going though my clients home and getting it all set up, he has decided not to move till the end of 2026. I started with a whole clean up of the fridge. One thing I did do was, after I tidied the girls rooms and put in clean bedding, was to put all of the girls clean washing on the beds, because the clothes in the baskets were becoming a dumping area.
This session I was asked to work on my clients son's room and the office/storage room. A lot of things had to go from one room to another. I spent a lot of time working by myself.

Last weekend I had my 'stuff' moved into a storage unit closer to where I am staying, so I could have easier access and do a further declutter.
I am incredibly thankful for the help that I received from the moving company, but I am not thankful that my 'stuff' was mistreated and all of my requests to put the large items to the rear or side, so I can have access to the bags and boxes...were ignored.
Now I am on the search for help, a bit of muscle, to re-organise my storage unit. Problem with that is..it will need to be done in a small space and there are very narrow walk ways.

MY WEEK THAT WAS...
With this session I was working by myself, as my client was working from home. I was able to able to make a few beds, tidy up and organise/clean the ensuite bathroom cupboards.
My client forgot I was coming. While I waiting for a text/call from my client, I took the clothes off the clothes line. I then tidied the house, primarily working on the children's bedrooms and the linen cupboard.
This session, my client contacted me with a work order for a replace of the dishwasher. I was going to be there, while this happened. I helped at the end putting the kick board back on. I had contacted my client the week before saying they needed new mattress protectors for the 2 queen beds, so I purchased them and put them on the beds.
I got to my clients home and she was having trouble with putting a shelving unit together. I told her that we needed to work on that and the other shelving unit that she had purchased. We then used them to organise more space in their garage.
My clients are still renovating on of their children's rooms, so tidying the home with a lot of furniture in their living area is a little more challenging..but my client was so happy with what I was able to get done.
I had been booked for another extra session, so I worked more on the children's bedroom, sorting the clothes. I then worked on my clients walk-in robe. I've advised they need to purchase shoe racks, so we can use the space the shoes are taking up, for their clothes.
I received a text late Wednesday night from my client telling me on of the children were unwell, so our session was cancelled. So..I moved my 6hr session earlier, went to Bunnings to buy some storage solutions for myself, then came home to put it together and also put together my besties storage cupboard that we had purchased a week earlier.
I worked on resetting my clients home, getting all of the folding done and put away. One of my clients children was home (she had an English test), I spoke to her about the size of clothes for her and her sister. I told her I would try my best to put the right clothes in her room, but if I ever get it wrong, to either put it in the laundry or drop it in her sister's room.
My clients and I worked on resetting a few area's of their home. This session we did a full tidy up of their office. It was fully cluttered and it was hard to find anything. I cleared off the surfaces, which meant it was easier for things to be put where they needed to be.

Hi there everyone.
How has your week been?
I am exhausted, but I need to keep going. Today I am getting my 'stuff' brought to storage at Kelvin Grove. Some people may think it's insane moving my stuff from storage to another storage, but I need access to a few things and the movers storage is in Brendale or Lawnton, which is a little too far to gain access to it when I need. I drive past the Kelvin Grove storage facility many times a week.

MY WEEK THAT WAS:
My lovely client had moved, so I was working on where things needed to be put, in their home. I have known them for such a long time, so I knew where they needed things put, to make it a home for them, plus I know that my client hates 'clutter', so I worked on making the home look less cluttered.
I am booked 'Bi-monthly' for this lovely client. This session, we worked on their bedroom, sorting clothes, putting them away, folding them so they fitted. My client has asked for more sessions.
During this session, while tidying my clients home, I noticed the cleaners had not stripped their youngest Childs bed before putting on clean sheets, plus I noticed that the mattress protector is missing. I messaged my client about purchasing a new one, I will have to send a message again, as I am not sure what her message meant, I got a 'Thank you Vicki', but I am not sure if that's a 'yes'. I also had to let her know that one of the nannies had put some of their washing through the dryer, they had been asked not to do that.
Because I had to move my sessions around on Tuesdays, I haven't seen my client, but just before I left, she came home with her eldest child. It was wonderful to see them. I told my client that I need to spend some time tidying the children's clothes cupboards, but I need them decluttered first.
It is always incredibly had to spend time getting things done at my clients home, they have a beautiful Collie that loves to play, but I was able to get the beds made and the house tidied.
I met my client at Stafford City, so we could go to Kmart to purchase some storage and a few things for his home. Luckily I had my car, so I was able to transport all of our purchases. When we got the house, we pulled all of the food stuffs from the fridge and gave it a good clean. I ended up taking all of the shelving to the far back of the yard, due to how narrow the yard is and a pool. I did tell my client he needed to clean a few of the tempered glass bits of the fridge in the laundry, so I didn't break it in the back of the yard.
It was wonderful to see my lovely client during this session, but she was working from home. I was under the assumption that she was going to be home for our sessions, but that had changed, so I am looking to shift this session in the future. I worked on a Full Home Reset.
I was able to get all of the washing done for my client and all of the children's bedding changed. I didn't have much folding to get done, so I was able to tidy the house.
This session is with another Bi-Monthly client. I was asked to reset the children's rooms. I started with the daughter's room and ended the day with the son's room. I had asked my client if I could move a few things, to make it easier for them.

I seriously have the best clients.
Thank you all for your kind words.

My week that was:
My client had moved over the weekend. It's only a couple of streets away, but it's in a whole different suburb. My client loves me so much she just let me do what I needed to do to get them organised in their home. So..I worked on the kids play area, the kids bedroom and the spare room..where my clients are sleeping till they get a new bed.
My client and I decided to cancel her session..so I went on a few errands, came home, got changed and went for a walk for an hour, along the Brisbane River Walk. It was lovely to take a moment for myself, to breathe and think.
It was lovely to see my client and her oldest child as they were walking out the door. I had messaged my client over the weekend and asked if they minded me by purchasing drawers for her youngest Childs walk-in robe. I was able to complete a full house tidy, get all of the washing done, do all of the folding and put these drawers in. It will certainly be a game changer for my clients youngest child..he will be able to get his clothes without needing help.
I was able to give my Ascot client some more sessions..so I could do a little more work on a large storage cupboard. Now that I have 'nearly' completed tidying it, my client can work on decluttering it.
My clients are renovating their home, so I have been working on keeping their home liveable. This time the queen bed from the back room - to be their son's bedroom - is in their lounge room.
For this session I was asked to sort their cables. My client said it was something that she hated to do, but it really needed to do. She has been purchasing all of the clear packing cases from Kmart, so that everyone in the home can find things. Some people need things contained, but need to see it..which is why these clear plastic packing cases, with zips are the best for them.
I really love working with my client to keep on top of things in their home. This time we sorted all of the boys clothes. Everyone has grown and clothes were not fitting.
I've made a big mistake with my client, I had asked that he purchase spare bedding for the children's beds..I was opening packages and noticed he had bought doona's..I thought I had asked him to purchase doona covers, but I forgot to add the word 'COVERS' to the message. WHOOPS. Thank goodness we will need the extra doona's. I was able to get nearly all of the washing done, dried, folded and put away. I have also been working on getting the children's built-ins tidied up. I was actually looking for coat hangers and got carried away tidying up.
I love working on my clients home, getting it all tidied up for them, making their home easier to manage. Their little man was home a small amount of the time that I was there. If he was my client, I certainly wouldn't be going back...hahahaha.

What’s on offer..

Back Story first...I’ve been a Nanny since β€˜94..working for many families..over time I have been paying attention to tidying up. I have always been a tidy person..making sure everything had a place. In my own home I have become a tad Obsessive Compulsive about everything being tidy. With this Obsessive Compulsiveness..I had started to help my families..by organising their homes. It started small..a linen closet here..a drawer there..a bathroom cabinet or two. My families loved this..so I stepped up my game..which brings us to now..

Here is a list of the Services that I offer..

TIDYING - β€œGET UP AND GO” $135/3HRS - $45/HR This includes: all beds made all rooms of the house tidied washing folded dishwasher loaded/emptied garbage bin emptied Upon request - change bed linen/towels and any other task. ANYTHING NOT CLEANING BASED.

ORGANISING - Home $135/3HRS - $45/HR Pretty much anything that needs organising.. Kitchen and Fridge Laundry Linen Bathrooms Wardrobes/Drawers Garage Decluttering (this can be done with your help..or by myself..)
