Such a short working week for me.
A public holiday for Easter Monday and I took a day off to attend my uncles funeral. I've been surrounded by people with all kinds of sniffles/snuffles and different kinds of lurgies. I have been trying to hold it all together and I was doing well, but I finally broke at the funeral. Luckily I had family there to give me plenty of hugs/support and some wonderful friends that would message me to keep me smiling.

I'm enjoying spending time working on my clients new home in Auchenflower. I am so happy that I am able to use some of the storage solutions that I had in my clients previous home.

A cancellation on Monday, which I used to collect my car and to go through my storage container to find my photo boxes, looking for photo's of my uncle, but I wasn't able to get to them.
Good Friday was a public holiday.

FYI...over the weekend, I received some sad news.
My Uncle, my mother's brother, passed away on Saturday afternoon.
I will be taking a day off for the funeral. At this moment, I do not know which client/s this will affect, but I will let them know as soon as I know.

As I said on Saturday, I have a cancellation this morning, but I moved my 6hr session to an earlier session time so I can drop off a hire car and collect my car.

I want to publicly "Thank" my Thursday clients for allowing me to sort out some issues with my car. A lot of people know, my car is my everything. My morning client allowed me to call my mechanic and car hire company. My afternoon client allowed me to come in a little later, to use up the time that I had accrued from staying late.
I have no idea what is wrong with my car..the mechanic used a lot of mechanical terminology, but it ended up being a $450 fix, if I had kept driving it, it certainly would have cost more than an arm and a leg.
I am very happy that I trusted my gut and didn't continue to drive my car.

I've received a message from my Monday morning client (next week) saying she needs to cancel our session. I will have to use that time to take the hire car back and pick up my car.

My Hamilton client is moving today. After I have been to a few appointments, I am dropping by their new home in Auchenflower. I can't wait to get my hands on it on Tuesday.
